(UN) EQUAL CAR ISSUE AGAIN!!!

I tested it. Offline it looks okay, but online AlphaTauri is about 1.5s slower than Red Bull. (Tested with my friend, both had similar differences)

for example.. yesterday I was doing 1:40.3 around belgium in equal performance Williams.. Today after the update I couldnt go below 1:42... It was obvious from the start of the lap.. top speed, corner speed, grip.. its all different and it feels like * especially in a Williams that Im using for racing.

The latest patch v1.12 has introduced a new bug revolving around car performance, yet again. 

Basically, setting the car performance to equal does absolutely nothing. All cars behave uneven and some cars are clocking laptimes even one seconds worse than the others. 

This is literally gamebreaking for a lot of people, especially from the league racing communities. Please fix it, that's not right guys. 

Where exactly are equal cars not equal? Only time trial? What about multiplayer matches?

the current work around is to set it to the MP car and then make sure all equal is on it will upgrade everyones MP performance to maxed out, the only issue with this is you do not know who is going to be sharing a pitbox with you in the race so its easy to end up double stacking accidently

if you dont put all equal on it will use the my team car at whatever level you have upgraded it to so make sure all equal is on when you pick the MP car

codemasters get worse and worse every year how are they still breaking things every time they release a damn patch

Yeah, that certainly seems like a viable workaround, but in our particular case, where there are race engineers associated with each driver and the drivers themselves are on the highest national skill level, with prizes on the line, that adds an unwanted level of randomness which kills the strategic aspect of the race. It might work for 4fun environments, but competitive grids need a basic functionality of the game to work as intended 

I don't know if there is a worse studio than Codemasters. I have never met such incompetent people who don't give a damn about the environment that gives them money. A bunch of amateurs pretending to be a professional studio, copying the game every year.

So if you go play multiplayer and pick equal cars but f1 23 cars they are not equal?
