@ironobject60 Although your on the same tyre compound and age. We are handicapped on new tyres compared to Ai as we have to heat the tyres up to get them to work. The Ai tyre carcass temps are always at optimal levels. For your in lap we also struggle as we can’t push as hard as the Ai on worn tyres so their in laps are generally faster than ours and I’m assuming the Ai were all putting around the same time as you.
@ScarDuck14 thanks for explaining this, I was wondering how AI cars can have better grip while I struggle to heat my tyres (carcass, not surface).
- @P4st3l1ak Only way to be on a level track with Ai is to switch tyre temps to surface only. That way carcass temps will always be at optimal like Ai. I’ve noticed the YouTubers who post career and myteam videos do the same.

- @P4st3l1ak Only makes sense to keep carcass and surface on us if you play multiplayer. But if like me and only play single player I do as the Ai do
