What is wrong with my F1 23? Why does a 180 wheel rotation feel normal?

I'm on the EA app on a PC. Logitech G920 wheel.  I have all assists turned off except for ABS.

The quick lowdown is that for me F1 23 is incredibly harder to drive and I'm much slower and I can not understand why. 

Wheel Settings:

F1 22 wheel setting rotation is set to about 320/330, feels good

F1 23 I have to set the wheel rotation to 180 just to get the car to turn! Does anyone else have a 180 wheel setting? If I set it at 180 on F1 '22 it's nearly impossible to control the car. On F1 23 a 180 wheel setting feels comparable to 320 on F1 22.

Canada Time Trial: To compare I spent a little time at Canada in both games.

On F1 22 I was easily able to set a time in the 1:12s, this is about 4 seconds off the pace. The top ten esports driver times are in the low 1:09s

On F1 23 It was more of a struggle but I was able to get a time in the 1:13s, over 6 seconds off the pace. The top ten esports driver times are in the low 1:08s

So the top drivers for some reason are a full one second faster in '23 while I am a full one second slower! This doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure why the times are a second faster in 23 but whatever happened it hasn't helped me, it made me slower. 

Grand Prix:

In F1 23 playing against an AI of 35 feels like I'm playing against an AI of 100. It's very hard to keep up. Car is hard to corner. feels very slow, AI just drives away from me.

In F1 22 driving in Canada against an AI of 35 I was able to go from P20 to about P10 in five laps on first attempt.
