During the last weeks, even YESTERDAY ingame it said the Season Rollover would take place on the 2nd October...Now, without any warning or communication, they delay the new season by TWO WEEKS until the 16th October??Why are you doing this Codemasters? And why is there NO communication ANYWHERE about it, just spontaneously changing it last second after teasing it for 6 weeks?This company becomes more and more embarrassing and intransparent every week, it really is a shame. Many people didn´t even grind Ranked this week because they thought they would not get promoted (because of the new season) only for them to randomly delay it...

Let me see this straight... so...
I worked a lot in this previous week to reach Elite from Gold III. I understand last season some players did the same and the trophy didn't pop up. Still, they received in-game items for reaching Elite division.
Have the criteria for moving up/down division been changed? Because:
I was in 4th place to Elite and I recieved in-game email saying "congratulations on reaching Gold III"... I was already there;
The same email is dated one week in advance (09.10.2023);
The season changed today, but it says it will end in 13 days. So it means it was extended?
Because if it was, everyone in the top 7 Elite should get promoted.
What the hell is going on here?
I serious don't understand this constant changes in the game...
Can please someone help with this question about criteria changes for promotions and demotions?

This is frustrating...
I made a topic too about it. I worked hard on getting the elite trophy and now it is extended 13 days more but reseting everything?

@ReimvomSchleim I noticed this as well and am quite confused by the fact that season two has been extended by two weeks without any previous communication.

Feels somewhat pointless and wasteful to grind ranked or progress on the podium pass due to already being max level.

The most important thing here is:
If they really extended the season, the players who could get promoted should get that deserved promotion.
it’s not fair to reset everything and keep players in the same division as they were, when they propably worked hard and struggled to get promoted.

No, they kept us in the same division (in my case Gold III).
They extended the season for 2 weeks but despite of our effort to get the promotion, they kept us in the same division we already were
But as I said, if they extended it, the results should be the same as always... people to promote, should be promoted, players to demote, should be demoted... easy as that...

@GongBro i average between 30-70 ranked points a race once i get into a lobby. Getting into a full lobby isnt easy, staying on track without an opponent taking you out, is difficult too.

Need more assurances about the trophy moving forward before i attempt this all again. We all do
