Why is this silly idea still in the game. We should not be limited like that
Even Jarno Opmeer is complaining about it in a recent video (at 15mins 35) saying it is 'still a clown show' not a very good thing to say about the new game from an E-Sports champion

@FG44141 I am pretty confident that I have seen pre-release footage where it wasn't enabled, not sure if that was a bug or intended, but it really needs to go.
I understand that they need to make sure that the safety car gets into the pit prior to the race restart and all, but at the cost of severely hamper the players ability to warm up the tyres before the restart?
Not even being able to do a burnout while semi-stationary?
The tyre delta between cars that haven't kept the distance/purposefully fallen back (and thus being able to drive harder and warm up their tyres) has a potential to be incredibly unfair as the leader would have been limited in revs with this feature enabled.
I mean it's progress that you can atleast spin your wheels again after the message (Safety car in this lap).
But yeah the leader should be able to go full throttle whenever he wants, but unfortunately it seems that overtaking the SC before the SC1 line is not coded (which would result in a penalty), but rather this limiter to avoid this scenario.
