Will Playstation version get PSVR2 support in the future?

I don't know the exact why EA/Codies would be excluded, but this would be a logic explanation why there is nothing about PSVR2 for now. Another logical reason would be that F1 23 was already too far in the development so an PSVR2 implementation would maybe not be done correctly at this point.

Of course this is all speculation from my side at this point, an official statement from EA/Codies would be good to clarify the situation about PSVR2 for now. 👍

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a high-profile developer who has worked closely with Sony for years including DIRT Rally VR on PSVR1 would have been able to get their hands on a dev kit. It could be on their roadmap to implement a PSVR2 version and the devs simply may have not had the time to do the conversion yet or Sony may want to announce it themselves as part of a showcase or State of Play.

Yeah, I also forgot about State of Play, in terms of marketing a good move to generate hype. Probably there was not enough time to implement in time for this game. But honestly, I rather hope that Codemasters are taking their time if they want to  properly implement PSVR2 at some point. I would them to take and do it properly, if it's rushed, there would be a high risk of having a bugged VR-Mode 😅

How are you so sure they don't have a dev kit.. Any source?

I'm sure Codies/EA of all studios got one of these 2000+ dev kits back in 2021-22... or since then... I'm sure they would have recieved some, if they asked for it. 🤷🏾‍♂️

No, I don't have any source, that is just pure speculation on my part, sorry.

However, we would already heard or read something if F1 23 would have PSVR2 or not by now if it is in the game. 

Let's wait and see, maybe EA/Codemasters can help to clarify that question, it would be good to know when they going to put PSVR2 in the F1 Game. 🙂

I just hope it's because Sony has NDAs on some announcements, saving them for a show later this month.

F1 23 releases in June.... so hopefully that's the case.

Like Air Combat game Project Wingman is supposing to be releasing on the PS5 with VR support.  It was kind of announced by Sony's EU twitter account.. but never heard from again... as well as Beat Saber... Among Us VR... there are a bunch of games they haven't gone deep into.  Seems like original launch was a soft one.. and the real launch is happing this month.  PSVR2, in the US, is finally going to he available in retail stores like Best Buy and online stores like Amazon.

Yeah, hopefully it is because Sony is saving an announcement for State of Play, let's see. We have to wait until then I guess. 😁
