Wrong ps name displayed online

During online lobbies everyone sees my user name as something completely different to my PS user name and EA ID, it uses my very old PS name which I changed years ago. Does anyone have a fix for this...

    Hey @SiRR4Hv,

    If you check your linked account page here to see everything connected to your EA account, are you seeing your current PlayStation username or the old one?

    You could try a password reset for your PSN account if you haven't done so since updating the username, but ultimately if an older username is displaying it would be best to reach out to PlayStation Support directly. They'll have a bit more insight as to why an older username may be cached or showing up only in certain situations.

@EA_Mako It's listed each of my name change as a linked account. Thanks for your response I'll reach out to them.

    @SiRR4Hv 

    Gotcha! If you're seeing both versions of the same account linked, our support may be able to help by getting the old one unlinked directly.

    I'm not sure why you'd be seeing two versions of the same account, so that portion may be more suited for PlayStation Support, however you can try getting one of those unlinked below to see if that helps get people seeing the correct name in-game in the meantime.

    If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further with that extra linked account.

      My PSN sometimes in the stats only or in the room or even on ice shows as a player ive played with or against or someone random.
