The numbers just about say everything don't they

I don't disagree, but I'd agree with you more if the conversation hadn't already been had, ad nauseum, for the last several months/years. Content creators, eSports players, and League players have all been criticizing this release since day 1, so there shouldn't be any secrets as far as why Leagues or multiplayer isn't as active as it used to be in previous years. The game is still buggy and unremarkable, the franchise is in its death throes, and this has been well-known and discussed for quite awhile now.EA as a company doesn't care about the player base. It is a mindless corporate entity that doesn't think about whether or not it's taking customers for granted. As long SOME profit is there, the system won't change. The people who DO care about the player base are here. CMs, Champions, Devs, etc. But they aren't in a position to change anything with EA's strategy or project lifecycles.EA knows that this franchise will sell copies again next year. And the year after that. And the year after that. And they know it'll be enough to cover their bottom line. As long as those numbers get hit, the corporation couldn't care less how the players feel, nor what the Steam player counts say.Best thing any of us can do is just not buy F1 25, 26, and so on. But trying to get a game's player base to do that on a scale that would make any real impact is near-impossible.

These numbers have been posted multiple times, and don't really serve much purpose outside of stirring people up. It's not a secret that this year's game has been a decent flop, but those numbers also don't take console sales, EA Play, or other subscription services into account.I'm not happy with the game. A lot of people aren't. But this doesn't tell the full story, nor does it produce any kind of productive conversation.

That’s been the biggest slap in the face for me, especially as someone who has pre-ordered every single game since F1 2010, is that I put my faith in them and paid £89.99 for the Champions Edition, only to find that I got nothing for my extra money! I got 3 days early access to a broken game that needed to be heavily patched. 18,000 pit coin but the store was empty! I still have all 18,000 of it to this day!I got 3 liveries only to use in Time Trial on last year’s game that I’m not going to play… Not only was that extra £20 a waste of money, the game was 40% off after just 3 weeks, punishing every single player that trusted them enough to pre-order and pay full price! That has completely broken my trust and put me off ever pre-ordering again… I should have saved my money and bought it at 60% of the price a month later. Lesson learned..That’s really poor from EA. They need to understand the impact that this game has had on the player base.

I have to echo SDGMatt’s sentiments. Next year they’ll have to prove to me the game is worth the money. I have better things to spend my money on then a rerun of this game.

I guess the truth hurts!Bottom line is, F124 has been a calamity, to which I along with others spent £90 on it.It's abundantly clear that they do not care anymore and are prepared to just rush out a game that has gone backwards over the past couple of years, with zero implementation of the wishes of their loyal customer base.
