Best tutorials on how to be super fast on a controller?

Folks, I am amazed to see that some people are able to be within 1% of fastest people on a controller! How? I am 3 sec off at best and I am stuck, just unable to see how I can get faster. I am not able to drive silky smooth and the controller doesn't give me that feel. How can I learn? Anything you can recommend me watch? I learn best when I see. Thanks!
