Career mode feedback
After winning WDC in Career mode, the #1 option does not become available.
When conditions change, there are less updates to race strategies (eg. response to damage, change in weather, etc.)
Announcers refer to the player character as "the driver" rather than what is selected in the audio section. This was strange because in 23 its handled well.
Announcers dialogue was also just strange. For example at times they would talk about "the driver is on the cusp of the wdc" after I had already sealed the deal in drives points (as they announced in the previous race). Their dialogue was just a downgrade from 23 on the whole.
Lack of any kind of effect following the wdc in career mode was also a strange experience coming from 23. There was no cut scene, nothing special reflected in drivers recognition (I was still considered second driver), not even a message talking about the wdc. Given how big a role the fight for WDC plays in Formula 1, this area is very underdeveloped.
TL;DR
- #1 for winning WDC is missing (small thing with big impact on experience)
- Announcers don't use the players audio name (only used during grid announcement)
- Announcers audio is at times missing, or unrelated to previous announcements
- WDC and team mate rivalry has very little impact on recognition in the team or on driver recognition
- The entire WDC experience feels very empty (Big part of F1)
