Career mode goal impossible?

I have had this goal many times and i do 1 lap on hards and then a lap on softs and it works. Are you just using the same compound of tyre (i.e. 2 sets of softs?

Sadly hasn't worked for me. I used all 3 different compounds in the same practice session and it's not shown as complete.

I guess I'll try again on practice 2 tomorrow and see if it still happens and report a bug if it does.

The one that just didn’t work for me was the race strategy on 2 different tires. I did inters & mediums & it didn’t work 4 me either.

@MandoNiall Can you try what @hicksy099 recommends to see if it completes at the end of the race weekend?

  So I did what @Cpayne32 suggested by doing a lapon one compound, then doing a lap on a second compound and it worked.
  I'm wondering if it's an issue with doing the actual practice programmes? I used all 3 compounds in FP1 for 3 different practice programmes but I didn't do any laps that weren't a practice programme.
  FP2 I did 0 practice programme laps and it seemed to work.

    @MandoNiall For me it only worked when I didn't do it at the same time as a practice program.
    
    At the start of the session I did a flying lap using the default car setup on hard tyres and hit return to garage from pause menu after the 1 lap. Then I loaded a custom setup and soft tyres and did another flying lap and it completed. Hope this helps!
