Well "money" buys a licence..licence give cars..cars come to a game...I am pretty sure ea has alot of money 😃

@atfmarko And they won’t spend a penny On anything they don’t have to. Why are all games full and bugs and broken and missing content from previous titles when they release. Because the money men only allocate enough cash for a game’s development they think will be just enough for the devs to make a game for that has minimal viable content that they can get away with and still sell it for AAA prices

@seichrotierer You are not wrong, Automobilista 2 is a good choice, lots of cars and lots of mods available for the game. Back to the classic cars and tracks, IMO when they removed classic cars from the game in 2021 was a big loss, at least for me, as i don't have numbers about how many played classic cars and from time to time i go back in F1 2020 to have some fun with them. In F1 23 we have a little box called "DLC & PITCOIN" and i hope in F1 24 we will see a DLC with classic cars and maybe tracks. Speaking for myself, i know i would buy them all.

well, is their intention to please core gamers or just earn more money on microtransactions?

As @TheRagebeard wrote, they target new audience which didn't experience previous versions of the game so they don't know what they are missing. And because games are not available anywhere any more, they will never get the chance, either.
Also, new audience wants to earn money by playing and presenting the game on social media. We play it for fun and they can't exploit that.

I have bought f1 games for playstation every year for years, 2008 was a bad game. 2023 game has been a nightmare, be my first year I am NOT going to buy a f1 game.
update: If you brought in some classic F1 cars I may reconsider my decision!!!!

past few years are big disappointed.. 2020 was gold but handling model should be as 23
