Dissapointed of Playtesting Selection

Really dissapointed after not being selected maybe for F1 24 Closed Beta, after Playtesting the last two games (F1 22, F1 23), I wonder if it was a random selection or idk because I was really lookin...

You were very lucky to have been selected twice previously, so be grateful. There are hundreds of thousands of players around the world who would love a chance to playtest and help with feedback for F1 24. Other people deserve an opportunity. You really didn't need to make a post about it!

I've been playing the series since F1 2010 and apply every year to try the BETA, and I was lucky to be selected this year having only once been selected years ago!

I run a racing league and I'm very experienced with the game and very knowledgable of F1 and what I reasonably expect from the game, so I'm excited to try it and send my feedback.

Well, some people like to brag but it's not always the case.
I don't know what the rules for selection are, you'd need to ask EA CMs about that.
But I guess it also helps if you're are involved in community forums, not only reading them but also actively participating.

  I’m almost certain that it’s random because whilst I’m active on the game itself tor league racing, I rarely post on here!

@SDGMatt Yeah as you say, I’m really grateful but still kinda bad that some people that wanna give helpful feedback to devs weren’t selected or approved. Still hoping for a key for next Beta Session in May 3rd.

  1. You're assuming that people will not be giving feedback, the glass isn't always half empty mate. Im certain if they didn't get that much feedback, they wouldn't be doing playtests for this long.
  2. They state when signing up that it's random, being involved in the community or not has nothing to do with it, it's just a random selection based on your preferences.
  3. Disappointed to not get a key is valid, but expressing this as if it's EA's fault for not knowing that you want to give feedback is wrong, and honestly a waste of time. This playtest is for the game, not one individual and you should understand that. You don't go an complain to the dealer after you lose when you gamble, you don't complain to the ticket holder when you lose a raffle. This fills up this message board for no reason at all mate. Relax, the full game is out in just over a month...

    @J1mmyWong about the last sentence… it comes out in a month and a half that’s true, and there has not been any NEWS since the “Announcement”, the lack of information given is amazing.
    
    About the other points, well that’s true but I didn’t make this post just to like “blame” EA for not getting in, just wanted to share it with other players that couldn’t get their hands on the Beta, just sharing it cause I was really looking forward to test it, Im bored of F1 23 at this point.
