I can't believe how many things are terrible in this game! But the worst is AI tyre degradation, race pace.

EA is losing the license after 25. They are trying to squeeze as money in the little time they have left. And play testing just costs too much money
- @stonecoldtez69 EA pretty much layed off Codemasters entire QA team months before the game released. So I'm guessing but what testing was done, Was done by the Devs and a few interns and perhaps a janitor.
I was once part of a beta test. I gave them feedback. Some of it was fixed for the launch some soon after and some never was. Other testers were contradicting my feedback in some places only for those things to be the main gripes in the forums after launch.
So in addition to a good Quality Assurance team they need to be careful who they use as beta testers.
The two things I cannot fathom are how the patches routinely break things and how each year’s game seems to not build on the previous year’s game if the regs have stayed mainly the same.
- @AEF251 Back when it was Codemasters. They used to select beta testers from people who posted on their forums. Now it's EA you apply and it's pretty much random who gets in or not. Back when I was champion I did manage to get a few trusted players into beta. But like you and me they would have got lost in all the nonsense feedback

- @LightPilgrim No not true. License is just up for renewal then. I'm willing to bet it will be renewed
I dont believe anymore that testing is the problem but they try to people please and spend WAY too much time fixing the complaints instead of the game which are not always the same.
You simply cant please everybody.
Also the game engine seems like it cant handle changes.....fix 1 problem get 3 new ones. This may not be what is going on but it sure seems that way.
The fact Esports get a Special version of the game suggest something is fundamentally wrong with the base game we are paying for and should be a DLC for paying players imo.
