DRS / Slipstream / Dirty Air issue

Since the release of the game there is huge issue for career, multiplayer and every game mode with slipstream being too strong, dirty air being non existent and drs slightly overpowered.

I´m sorry but I can fix that thing in few hours. What exactly are you doing for half a year now? Just adjust values in txt file f1_2024_vehicle_package (with ego erp archiver).

Make values correct and release it next day as a patch that will change this poor game to somehow playable game.

Please its not that much you can do it, I believe in you.

  • @JanKondler I disagree. Those things are fine. Nothing to patch there except for maybe a little more dirty air effect

    So you think that having 20 cars glued to each other for the whole race especially in multiplayer is ok?

    I have to agree, although now it may be track specific, I also am still experiencing long and boring DRS trains on a fairly regular basis.

    I'm no expert in the best remedy from a technical perspective on how to at least improve the issue, but it definitely needs more work.

    The game is literally half finished and I have lost all confidence in the particular team that developed this mess. The same team responsible for F122 which was also another epic failure!

    At least F125 should be better as the other team who made F121 and F123 should be developing it.

    So you think it Is normal that a car Will constantly remain 3 tenths behind you during a whole race? And that you Will avoir to be overtake by usine ERS?

    The game has never ben so bad compare to the previous. This is so annoying comparing to F1 23 that was actually very good.

  • Same issue. DRS is slightly overpowered. Slipstream is however huuge. Combined with non existened Dirty Air, it makes races so weird and immersion breaking. Racing with AI means you have 20 cars glued with no overtakes except P1 and P2 changing on straights. During League Racing it makes the same issue even more frustrating

  • I’ve got the same issue. DRS feels a bit too much, and the slipstream effect is enormous. Without dirty air, AI races become a long line of cars, with minimal overtakes. It’s even worse in league racing—really immersion-breaking.
