What the hell happened to Ferrari engine sound? It's terrible. This change is unacceptable, it's hurting my ears!!
Just to provide an update. The issue with the career mode drivers not updating for the 2024 season has been passed onto the team for investigation.
as always, the team appreciate you raising these issue and encourage you to continue raising any issues

Is it intentional that the new F2 cars included in the new patch are not available for a career start?
So why were they brought into play?

I’ll get corrected if I am wrong but I thought we always started our careers in the previous years F2 season. The new season F2 cars are there because people want them, some of us like racing F2 for F2’s sake. It’s different racing, especially the reverse grids.

Don't get me wrong, I also like the F2 cars. I was just hoping to be able to start a career mode with them and not just in GP mode.

Hey everyone,
thanks for all your reports, thoughts and feedback about the recent patch.
To clear up some things, not being able to pick a 2024 F2 driver is working as intended and has always been the case with F2. The F2 season you play in career mode is the season before the game year (e.g. 23 in 24). Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense for the player driver to advance from F2 to F1 within the same year.
I've passed your feedback along to the team, though. The new Ferrari engine sound has also been escalated.
Regarding the ERS deploy limit changes called out by @Nuvolarix something indeed seems to have gone wrong and is currently being investigated. Thanks for flagging this to us!

If it is so why did you advertise on instagram that we could use 2024 F2 lineup as drivers in career mode? Also you have content creators in videos saying that it is supposed to be possible to play as say Antonelli for example in Driver/MyTeam career mode.
In previous years we couldn't use real drivers in driver career mode so I think that it's fair from comunity to expect it being allowed this year with changes to career mode.

Yes, I can understand your point of view and have passed that feedback along. You can still use F2 2024 drivers to compete in a Custom Championship in F1 World!

-Vendcerabut if I start a career in F2 in a game called F1 24, it's only logical that I can drive as a driver or at least drive the cars from the 2024 season.
As I said, why include the F2 2024 drivers and cars so late at all?
if i start an F1 career in F1 24 it is clear that i will play/drive the 2024 season. but if i start in F2 this should also happen in 2024 and not 2023 just so that i can start F1 with the lineup of the 2024 season. because maybe that is exactly what i want, to start with cars from 2024. or am i overshooting the mark?

How is an 'investigation' required for changing one number? Who even decided that was a good idea to change it in the first place? Literally unbelievable

Is it possible to get a clear answer on when the Ferrari sound will be fixed? Essentially brought back to how it was before this patch?
I am really not going to make this mistake again. Will only purchase the game if and when all bugs will be fixed. I do not want to pay the money and be a beta tester for 6 months. For some reason companies think that users will swallow everything.... Ubisoft also thought that it is ok to sell mediocre products.
