F1® 24 - Patch 1.14 Discussion Thread

There will be a hotfix somewhere this or next week probably fixing epic fail with smoke or photo mod. Already planned.

Too little too late. They cant fix this mess now at this point. They have lost our trust and at this point need to let someone else try and make this game. Start from scratch and put out a good product. Everytime something gets patched something else breaks.

i have the same issue. it destroyed my league race and idk how to fix it. it is not my connection with more then enough mbps's to have a normal race. i had that before the 1.14 patch. idk what changed, but this is completely destroying league races

The only thing going for F1 24 at the moment is that it's got the licence to have all the tracks and cars in the game, and that it's the easiest game to play across various platforms.

That is it. The bugs, the connection issues, the absolute blatant lack of giving a crap is just too much. When EA bought Codemasters I knew that this was coming. And here we are.

More focus on microtransactions and clothing items than on the game. It's quite apparent that the game is just there to fill the coffers of EA.

I really really really hope that EA doesn't get the licence anymore. We really need a company more concerned with where their money comes from than how much they can squeeze out of the already small player base.

Was traction touched? Two wet races and I find the car far more controllable with full traction and brake assist. Off the pace compared to the dry, but great to drive. 

Just let us reset AI if we restart a session to make up for it. 

I'm truly looking for an answer on this issue. In F1 world, last years title I couldn't keep up with the amount of events that were offered in the "series" portion of F1 World, F1 24, I literally have one event, which is Official F1 Series Part 4. I have absolutely nothing else. I finish the F2 series and nothing else was offered. Why is this content missing from this? Please answer me as I' truly feel ripped off with this years title. I don't care about these ridiculous seasons you continue to promote, plus it doesn't help my progress in F1 world either. So what's the point? Please, why is there no content in the series portion. The Section Solo & multiplayer have equal to the amount of last years, but I can complete them all within a week and then have to wait til you update it again, when I should have unlimited supply of events in the series portion and I have a dismal of one to race with. This is ridiculous and I need an explanation if you want me to bite on next years title.

Personally not a fan of F1 world, never even looked at it. But for those who do play it fair enough.

I fully agree, this live season stuff has completely destroyed the game franchise in my opinion. Just absolute garbage.

EA need to wake up here big time. If they dropped the live season stuff and concentrated on improving the game and including a helmet editor then their sales would expedite. However if they carry on with the live season rubbish they will never ever have a successful game. Period!

Same for me. Turning off DLSS mitigate the problem. Dev team needs to fix these frame drops. The depend on the track it seems.

So a funny thing about traction in the full wet in Hungary. I Started a race and had good grip but had to quit unexpectedly to help the wife. When I got back to the game I had no grip but had to quit again. So I decided to restart the race when I knew I could do it in one sitting and had better grip than ever. Definitely better than pre 1.14. Was TC touched? Why is it good, bad, better? Am I losing my mind?

The game is still experiencing random freezes, and I don't understand the cause. The 1.15 hotfix that fixes the smoke issue works well, but the freezes and the unusability of the Photomode are still present.
