- void_snw2 years agoRising Scout@mikyesposto1 "infinite camber" sounds nonsensical. Too much or too little is bad, in different but severe ways.
I agree that we need to "decrease grip" but just as a blanket statement that makes very little sense. Any less mechanical grip and we're straight back to 22. Where the cars seem a bit crazy is high speed. Now that we have the suspension stuff figured out, we may need to put a focus on how aero is dealt with.- JeffJrxx2 years agoRising Traveler
I'm on G29 wheel and the game is now more enjoyable and playable!
Front end is not sharp anymore and has less grip. Traction seems better in the way that the car is just not grabbed in the ground which is good.
EA and Codemasters now have to figure out how can laptimes be more realistic and game will become a banger!

Handling is fine, playing on ps5 controller
- 2 years ago@mikyesposto1 "There's still a lot of work to be done to get the feeling of F1 23. "
You serious bro? This is f1 24 not f1 23, get with the program, if you don't like it you can still go back to playing f1 23...
This is a new game, nobody wants the same game as last year lmao.- IShadic2 years agoRising Hotshot
Finally someone understanding the meaning of a New Game.

@TigerAlen410Yea I second this mate. It’s a new game and the excessive grip is more realistic to what the f1 drivers said, the last game was more realistic driving on medium tc in their words, so the fact these feel like there is lots of grip must be correct considering they have had input into this model of handling.
Done a few laps now and although I didn’t mind the last release handling apart from the little floating and very sharp front at low speed. This has got rid of those issues and now this feels awesome.
Thanks for the update and please keep listening to real f1 drivers input not these content creators and esports drivers that have never driven a real f1 car with these current regulations.wheel : fanatec DD1 and V3 pedals
- mikyesposto12 years agoNew Hotshot@TigerAlen410 Don't worry buddy. F1 23 remains a better game as a driving model, that's a fact. F1 24 has turned the physics upside down, but we're still not where we'd like it to be in terms of drivability. You still don't feel the curbs well, especially the higher ones. There doesn't seem to be any collision physics with them other than the huge grip that's there. Driving in Qatar is much nicer than at other tracks that have virtually no force feedback

Yes curbs need addressing as you can completely abuse them with no restrictions which isn’t right at all and this is probably why the lap times are soo stupidly quick but also these guys are probably using the on track off track and rumbles effects at 0 as well which again isn’t right and are exploiting the game in that way.
Although I did like 23 I don’t think 23 is better than 24.
just because something is different doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Again the fact this game has had real drivers input is a massive bonus.
