@NuvolarixHmm.. i hate to be this person but im not very optimistic about the career mode changes..The most promising thing seems to be the changes to the contract system..Driver ratings are just some weird way of leveling your recognition by using a metric of how you fare in the races - looks like - also still no race pace for ratings it seems🙄Recognition is just the new acclaim which is now supposed to be vital for everything you want to do, so perform well and everything will go well in time..Especially those new perks just look like a new presentation of old, the same old bonuses you get in a slightly different way but basically - play the game and you will unlock them in time unless you perform horribly wrong..Specialists seem very low depth to me, like its really just a different cover of the same old bonuses just like the "simultaneous upgrades perk" its the upgrade time reduced and possible the upgrade costs reduced? Cant currently imagine them making the PU components actually cost money as they didnt say a single word about the cost cap so money wont play a role..Rivalries? Yeah no, very loud noises for another "here you got some acclaim" unless there is far more to it then is known yet, nothing deep, nothing special besides tracking the progress between 2 drivers and getting a "recognition" reward for it.. mehNot gonna mention accolades😂And last but well last.. The mid race objectives.. Burn some fuel.. Oh dear🙄 so your target can be burning fuel/ruining your engine by overrevving.. I hope the other objectives are better..I know i sound horribly pessimistic, its just that a rework of career mode had so much potential, there were so many good suggestions, many worked out ideas from all around and yet to me it feels like a new cover for the same old basics and mechanics.. except for maybe contracts but we will see how much depth these things actually have and how much the gameplay differs from the old mechanics

the ideas are in line with my thoughts on the f1 game......I have a question that I'm sure you can't answer in the case of equal performance for the online lobby, is it possible to choose the wing as you also say there? and the cars themselves with performance always equal for online since they are different in shape between belly funds etc will they be equal in what? thanks the rest for personal taste they seem like good ideas to me in theory we shouldn't see setups all the same fine

Ive seen a lot of the points presented there before somewhere😝😝

Honestly, IF done properly this could be great.. realistic DRS differences from high to low drag, more detailed suspension, generally the difference between high speed and low speed grip, finally ERS modes are avaibable again - love it but hope it doesnt get abused too much by Esports guys😅.. All this could really make the races feel more individual however there is some concern on my part..

Temperatures play a key role now, which is great, but is the AI finally equally affected as the player? I guess engine temps are still not as much a factor as it is IRL (as seen for Merc in Bahrain) but thats fine, you cant change the entire game in a year, but if the AI still has predetermined tyre temps this whole feature is kinda multiplayer only.. Like what a huge disadvantage for the player it would be to risk the tyres, having to go onto the wet parts while the AI is stuck on 65° on inters as it looked like int he deep dive🤔? Thats what im worried about..

If the temps for AI are same as for player and ideally the dirty air finally is at least 3 seconds long (after Hülkenberg claiming it gets back to the 2019 levels of dirty air) id absolutely love it😀😀

@Meza994 totally quoted. Lots of interesting stuff but the offline game risk to be terrible if the AI behaviour at least doesn't "resemble" the player. Or force the player to deactivate realistic tire behavior settings (if the option is still available) something that I personally also avoided in F1 23 (with difficulty). If it were managed it would be awesome, let's wait and see 😉
P.S.: nice built-in telemetry too

@ScarDuck14 Thing is there were some clips with the tyre temps moving, but that might have just been real player footage and not AI.. really unnerving when they dont want to answer this specific question, tracks like Hungary should be a pain then with more realistic performance dropoff at overheating🙄

@Meza994 Can’t even get my long time close friend 🙄😂 David to comment. Obviously it’s not his thing but still he gives nothing away. Which you have to admire.

But to go along with new career the Ai really needs to be affected by temps, As it will be a critical thing for humans to manage. If Ai had set temps again and become much faster through specific sections off track where our tyres are melting, If you turn Ai difficulty down to keep up with Ai in those parts it will just make us OP through sections where temps stay within window. So to keep pace balanced with Ai I can’t see any other option other than just setting surface only

Id even settle for,if they reduce the Ai temp range so they never get too hot or cold. And leave enough room for temps to cause some variation in there performance

@ScarDuck14 Well the problem wont necessarily be like that, rather you cant push properly in certain parts, otherwise your tyre temps will shoot up and you will suffer less grip for the whole next lap..
Temps once they reach their normal average dont jump that much throughout a lap, but if you push hard enough they will rise till your grip goes below Strolls awareness😂

At the very least they need a limited temp development, like only 90% of what can happen to human players, but ideally you want them facing the same struggles!

Absolutely, otherwise it’s impossible to face AI, meaning no matter which level you choose you will be faster under some conditions and slower in other. No close match = no fun 🤷‍♂️
