@superhoops82What do you mean.. Question where the money is going? If there are any profits it goes the same place as it always goes.. To EA and shareholders. And they don’t have to justify to us where the money goes.
As for antisocial. Most people live in a house with other people who in most cases interact with those other people. Be it roommates or family members. Your looking at it from your point off view and not other people’s
“Still bloody scary, especially when someone decides to creep up on you when you have the headset on. The alcohol does help to calm the nerves though.”
This is another big factor why people don’t like wearing a headset. They feel vulnerable. Which you have just proven
Then they won't put money into making the game better either then if that's what people are waiting on...
I didn't say I play videogames in a room on my own personally, but a lot of people do. FYI, I play videogames in my living room, in a sociable setting, with my wife on the same sofa as me. She'll play Astrobot and Moss VR with me, or just chill out doing her own thing while I play GT7 VR and we manage to even chat while I'm driving too... even with the VR headset on! The headset only goes over the eyes, not the mouth, as those who have never owned one may not know.
As for the "vulnerability", yeah some may feel that and if so then VR isn't for them. My mates creeping up on me is just them having a laugh. No need to overthink it.
Anyway, gaming is about enjoying other experiences from your home, playing as different characters, living in another world. VR brings you right into the middle of it beyond what a flat screen can do and I ruddy love it.
