Missing the MAADEN logo on the car
ALPINE: Missing the XBOX sponsor, Pink livery...
No Special liveries from the grand prix of Las Vegas, Mexico, Monza, Silverstone are present on the games!
Neither car liveries nor special helmets.
Not even a special helmet for Hamilton, Sainz, Zhou or even Bottas.
Don't talk to us about content, because the games are there today in this state
If the team cannot keep the liveries up to date regularly with more regular work and press on it is serious.
Because that's the "MINIMUM" for an official game.
You have just released the update of WILIAMS, HASS and a MCLAREN logo.
It's very good ! But why do only half the work ? Where is the rest ?
Are you going to release it in 2 months or 3 months ? No it's not serious guys
I remember for F1 20 the answer to why liveries are not updated regularly was not only resources but the contracts signed between the team and sponsors, the teams and FOM and FOM and Codemasters. They were constrained also by advertising rules in different countries on what could be in a video game. I suspect not all of it is their fault, but some of it maybe.
One off liveries in a games that represents the whole season is a luxury. Sure they could have an option for what livery each team uses the way Madden lets you edit uniforms but given the other things that need attention I don’t see that as a good use of resources.
Drivers require more than them competing, they need to sign contracts allowing their images to be used, they would need to be scanned and then if they are in turn dropped do you include the next driver too? In a game representing a whole season, which driver is supposed to be in? Since scanning is done before the season and time at a race weekend is limited, how will you get a driver to sit down for scanning when they are pressed for time? Assuming they get the rest done they could leave an editor allowing us to move drivers around assuming the FOM agrees, but CM used to say that FOM was very limiting in what they allowed commercially. For instance Bahrain paid a premium to be the first race so a calendar allowing that to be swapped out was a non-starter till they allowed shorter seasons.
