@Xepheldor if you're friends with them you could just look them up on RaceNet... this is if your only goal is to obtain their TT times. I don't think UDP needs to be updated, but I wouldn't mind an API for connecting to RaceNet to grab data from there. That would be awesome!

@TTV-ADHawkinsGHfrom what I've seen, in regular/non-sprint weekends, the RACE value (15) is sent for the GP. In sprint weekends, for sprint race the RACE value (15) is sent and for the GP, the RACE2 value (16) is sent. IMO there should be a separate/unique value for sprint race

@FILaps The only changes between the v25 and v27 doc were a few small corrections to data types, there were no additions other than adding/updating all the constants.

The issue here is that most likely the receiving end is not accepting (or allowing) UDP traffic on that port. So you need to make sure the port is open on the receiving end's firewall. Why is there such a big discrepancy in the Team IDs table in the appendix section between the F1 23 and 24 documents. I see that the table is significantly smaller in this years edition. Did 23 just have a ton of unused team ID's or has that much been trimmed from this year's edition?

It could have many reasons. Most likely it's a clean up. Some F2 team names have changed since 2021 and they are no longer required for this year's version.
Also, it could be related to support of two previous UDP versions only. So only with v22-v24 available, some constants could be removed.

@P4st3l1akgot it. My main concern is whether these changes will break existing enums from F1 23 various telemetry tools. I haven't fully compared the F1 24 doc against the F1 23 doc

It all depends on version of telemetry you use. As Codies support only versions 22, 23 and new one now, I can assume they ensured these versions have all necessary constants available in format for those supported versions. And I didn't find any discrepancy so far, though tbh, I didn't look too deep. But I guess other guys would have flagged them by now.

I found odd thing.
In Time Trial, for the Rival/PB some values, like speed, gear, RPM and e.g. WorldSpeed (x,y & z) seem to fluctuate a lot, like these values are "mad".
E.g. the speed reported can range from 200 to almost 500 within few packets and gear reported can be 1 and 4 on next packet and then 2. Throttle/Steer/Brake values seem to be ok.
This data (speed, gear, RPM, worldspeed) are ok on offline races for other cars, but in TT it is just "crazy". Are others noticing the same?

I have alot of issues with the TimeTrial Packadge to capture the right name. The nameName is possible beccause you can link the m_teamID, but it would be helpfull to get a m_carIdx in the ParticipantData or the m_carPosition in the Timetrial Data. Then I can match those 2 to get the name of Ghost, Rival and player.

Why don't you use the PacketLapData.m_timeTrialRivalCarIdx (and PacketLapData.m_timeTrialPBCarIdx) to get the correct names?

Why is 0 on and 1 off? All other "bool" fields are 0 is off and 1 is on. Is this a typo?

@IkoRein Because in that packadge, there isn't a position or a other value I can use to find the name.

I already get the carIDX in the TimeTrial data, So I don;t have to have it 2 times. I need this value in the ParticipantData to create a array there and combine them to find a Drivername
