@Hoobiechoobie Is it possible that your team add the m_carPosition to the PacketTimeTrialData? It's impossible now to find out the position of the Rival or Personal Best, and get the name information. The laptimes of Rivalcar and Personal Best can not be found in the normal Lapdata or . So I can;t search for the same time there and get the m_carPosition.
@Hoobiechoobie I have found a few bugs in the UDP Data:
- Multiplayer, One Shot Qualify. The damage of all cars exept the player car, have all 100% damage on the car, except for the frontwing.
- Timetrial: Output of the Asist are wrong. Rival car looks good, but m_gearboxassist gives 0 as output for player and Personal Best. And 0 is not a choise, it should be 1,2 or 3. But all the asist look wrong as output.
I've got never an event packet with SSTA (session start) and only the last two F1 practice sessions sent the event packet with SEND. The 9 F2 session (practice, oneshotqualiy and race) don't have any event packet with SSTA or SEND.
Has someone the same issue? All games beforc (since 2020) I didn't have the problem.

Quick question, is the game able to send UDP telemetry output outside the LAN? I have port-forwarded, but still can't properly send UDP output. Does the game have the option to do it, or is it an issue on my side?

So far I'm finding the TimeTrial package really useful. I always got a bit lost trying to extract it from participants and it ended up being quite messy with lap numbers etc so having the idx of the current versions is a life saver, so thanks for that.
One thing, if a rival hasn't been set yet, can it send -1 or something? With participants being 0 based, of course it just suggests that it's 0, when it's not.
@Hoobiechoobie Why is the max UDP rate being changed to 60Hz with the v1.3 patch? 120Hz with the motion packets is really nice for engineering data, that extra fidelity in the recorded data was nice.

People say, in theory, it would work, if the game would have that function.

For sending the UDP data you really don't need VPN solution like Hamachi. The issue here is that most likely the receiving end is not accepting (or allowing) UDP traffic on that port. So you need to make sure the port is open on the receiving end's firewall. VPN tunnels like Hamachi just make it easy to connect, as with them you don't need to tweak firewalls etc.
I have tested the UDP feed (actually real saved F1 2020 UDP feed) from one AWS instance to another (one in Europe, one in Asia) and it worked with no VPN tunneling.
If you really want to setup the Playstation to use some VPN tunneling, you need more exotic router at home, where you put the Playstation on a VLAN, which uses Hamachi (or other VPN tunnel) to send traffic out, but I don't think that is worth the effort here as most likely you need to buy a new router, which allows you to do this.
So in short, it should work. Firewalls on your end or on the receiving end are most likely blocking the (UDP) traffic.
