F1 25 Suggestions
1. Multiplayer Grand Prix Interface - When using multiplayer cars, the same screen that exists for "select driver and team" when using official F1 cars, make that screen beside "select livery". This will allow us to choose our garage/teammate.
2. Race Start Timer Option - Create an option for a timer that will ready everyone up to proceed into the race during the part where you make your race/pit stop strategy (options of 30sec, 1min, 1min 30sec, 2min, 2min 30sec, 3min)
3. Show racing line as an assist for time trial
4. 75% race distance
5. Create an option where we can choose the tyre wear level we want for a race (currently 25% and 50% have the same tyre wear, and 5 lap and 100% have the same tyre wear. Let the 5 lap/100% wear level be low, let 25%/50% be medium, and add another that has 25% more wear than the 25%/50% level, and call that one high).
6. Double tyre wear effect - Whatever the values are set at for tyre wear due to non-smooth driving or locking up, double it)
7. Dirty air severity - An option that allows us to choose dirty air severity. Whatever the dirty air value is right now, call that low. Make four levels that will 2x, 3x and 4x the current value we have now
8. Suspension damage - Damage model where wheel banging or any contact with the side wall of tyre causes a puncture. Can be an option with reduced, normal, and simulation (reduced = 3 hits of tyre results in puncture, normal = 2 hits of tyre results in puncture, simulation = 1 hit of tyre results in puncture)
9. Ghosting and/or translucent brake marker boards
10. ERS system for quali - Remove being able to use overtake mode in qualifying. Let it just be setting the ERS deploy to none, medium and hotlap
11. Option to serve time penalty during pit stop - Create an option where serving your time penalty during a pit stop can be turned off. The penalty will be added to your race time, but if you pit during the race, you will not get held to serve the time penalty (if the option is turned off)
12. Change to ERS system for Race (Option called "ERS depletion rate") - Every time the overtake button is used, make the maximum level that the ERS can charge up to lessen. So instead of having of having the battery be able to charge to 100% for the entire race, that 100% will lessen every time the overtake button is used. Let there be a low, medium and high option for this. Low will be every time the overtake button is used, that 100% will drop by 1 point/percent. For medium, it will drop by 2 points/percent. And for high, it will drop by 4 points/percent. The lowest that the maximum level can get to will be 20%, to which when it reaches that, it will stay there for the remainder of the race. This will add a lot more strategy as to using the battery throughout the race.
13. (Optional add on to 12) - Every time you go into hot lap mode during a race, it will be locked into hot lap mode for 15sec, however it will reduce the maximum percent of the battery by 5 points/percent or 8 points/percent (5 will be low setting, 8 will be high setting). Have this be an option called "Hot Lap Depletion Rate". Or potentially remove hot lap mode if suggestion 12 is implemented, as that adds enough variation as far as battery usage is concerned.
Final word: With these suggestions, we have a fresh game. To the person/people from EA who contemplate the progression for what goes into the F1 game; there seems to be a lot of focus as far as in-game content is concerned. I will be making a post as far as suggestions for in-game content (one is an overhaul of ranked mode that I have already posted; I will re-post it in the new post). We don't require things such as scenarios against computer, etc. We did not have these in the F1 games a few years ago, and the game did well. Aside from the handling model which got the majority of complaints (and I personally do not think it is that bad, the grip in conjunction with turn in speed need tweaking which I am sure is being refined), as well as track limits, we just need a simple game. My suggestions cater more to online/league racing; so I will try and take a look into my team/my career and think of suggestions for this as well. In all, please put a focus on how we can vary and refine our options for our racing experience as with the suggestions I listed above. I will be back soon to list (at least) two in-game content additions that can be done, and hopefully other single player additions. All in all, please bring back the love and passion for creating the game. It will allow for an enjoyable game for us (the consumers), and it should bring forth a high level of pride for those involved in creating it. Work hard and make it happen. Thanks.
