Using the search function of this forum I wasn't able to find a an answer.
The UDP provides the locations of the drivers, but I can't find the vector track maps. Are they available somewhere? Or could the developers provide them?
Yes I was referring to F1'23. I have reviewed the UDP specs. However I could only find the location. Not the top down view of the track to project those locations on.
For example:
Is this something you have to extract yourself by following the ideal race line on every track and recording the position? This feels real cumbersome.
Has this changed now?
Not really, no - I think it would be near impossible to set something up like this.
Best case scenario would be to dig through game files and find the required data. Other than that, I think it would be easiest if Codemasters would provide a data set instead with at least the basic information (track layout coordinates) for each track.
