F1 World Grand Prix mode
I started a Grand Prix season. I can’t find any settings for this except when you first set it up. I got to one of the sprint races and it brought me to a screen where it showed China’s Sprint Race and Grand Prix, this allowed me to go into settings to make the sprint race a Wet race. As soon as I was done with that, I never got brought out to the screen showing both again with the settings and now it’s just stuck doing every single race as a wet race. Is this really the case? I can’t change settings again until I get to Texas? This makes absolutely no sense and has ruined any progress I’ve made in this as I don’t want to just keep doing all wet races
Hi, unfortunately some important screens have been removed from F1 23 and it's a big issue (I've opened a related topic in bug section, link: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Bug-Reports/impossible-to-choose-TYRES-ALLOCATION-during-a-Championship-and/m-p/13817587#M3460).
About your issue from what I could check:
- if you start the session and then directly go into a new session (without completing it or using fast forward) by selecting the new session inside the session you are running you can't access the settings screen before the following session, you are automatically thrown in there and you stuck with the previous settings no matter what;
- as a workaround if you complete the session or use fast forward (or retire from the session if it's a sprint race) you can access the settings screen before the following session;
- what you can never do (no workaround possible) is to change the settings between a race and the following weekend thus it's never possible to change the tyre allocation you chose at the start of the championship!!! Which is the reason why I opened the bug topic, other than you cannot change any settings in that specific step from one GP to another 😞
