F2 Co-op Career Mode Possible?

I was looking through all the new career mode information from yesterday and it seems all the features in single driver career are available in co-op career mode too. 

Does that also apply to potentially starting a co-op career in F2?

It would be amazing to both start in F2 at different driver academies, and equal machinery 😉 , and try and win the title before the F1 career starts. Would add to the rivalry system which seems so important this year too.
