Fanzone in Season 5
My game just updated with ‘Season 5’ and prompted me to select a new team and driver for FanZone…..
Season 5 has been advertised with the line ‘embrace the winter break’…..
There is no racing for 3 months!
Features like ‘Grand Prix Voting’ are now useless…
It STILL gives you the option to select Logan Sergeant and Daniel Ricciardo. No Colapinto or Lawson….
We have a Liam Lawson Pro Challenge, but can’t use him in the RB in game….
Why have the drivers not been updated?
This is the first year of this new feature and yet it looks like a half baked idea that nobody has bothered to maintain.
Fanzine has been highly criticised, but it’s actually a cool feature that has just been poorly implemented. The results mean nothing at the moment. You get an icon next to your name on the leaderboard for a bit….
How about being able to unlock an item of team clothing for your avatar menu person? Or your chosen drivers real helmet to use? Practical and valuable rewards that people will actually try to unlock and maybe change up their chosen team/driver each season to try and unlock a few options?
This could all be done so much better!
Ultimately, much like submitting bug reports, nobody will even bother to read this, and none of it will find its way to the devs….
