Firstly I hope the comments posted here are listened to and not just passed on to the development team and ignored. Granted some of the complaints have been recognised and the team have improved various things.The absolute frustration for me at least comes in the form of the gimmicks that EA seem to be primarily focused on rather than what everyone has been asking for. Seriously who cares one iotta about sunglasses, headphones, stickers and fanzone?F1 world needs to be completely binned. Completely fictitious nonsense and a waste of time and resources again.By decimating the store of race wear items, mainly helmets in F124 is completely unacceptable. Just look at the post I created months ago "why only 3 helmets" to which now has been closed! Look and listen to the feedback EA!Adding in another two helmets to the store to try and make amends isn't good enough. You could have at least added old helmet designs from F121,22,23 which costs almost zero recourses but you chose to ignore those requests.The Ferrari engine sound since the last update isn't great. The F2 cars sound great, so why can't you do the same for F1? Granted each car has different characteristics in terms of engine sounds, but surely it can't be that hard to replicate?AI DRS trains are terrible and completely spoil the immersion. Why wasn't this tested properly by your development team prior to release? You changed the way the ERS works and never retrained the AI to use it. This is absolute basic stuff. If the dirty air element was adjusted as requested by a lot of people, then I am absolutely convinced this would go a long way to resolve the issue.Handling, as bad as it was I fully understand the difficulties of it after David left. At least now it's much better, but still not great. No start light bug, dry tyres in wet races? No wet races in two player career, no safety car in two player career. Seriously how on earth has this ever passed your QC testing team? Tells me the game was never properly tested in the first place. With it being a yearly franchise I'm not expecting huge leaps every year. But what I and everyone else is expecting is a massive improvement for F125, with much more care and attention to detail.What I expect for F125.Improved handling for all players, wheel and controller.Improved AI to ensure racing is realistic and more immersive.Way more helmets to choose from. Or even better a basic helmet editor, how hard can that be? Bin F1 World and use the recourses to implement one. I bet absolutely everyone would want that.Engine sounds have to be better. The TV camera sounds are actually excellent, but it does not match the car visually on track at times.I'd like to see less pointless stuff like stickers and fanzone. Just absolute drivel that no one cares about.Maybe bring back classic cars.More immersive things within career mode, like team briefing after each session etc. maybe driving the car out of the pits to line up on the grid before the race. It's the little things like this that can make it more realistic and immersive. Focus more on the racing aspect rather than things that don't belong in an F1 game.And for the love of god stop creating games with the same repetitive bugs!Finally, if you're going to charge £90 for F125, at least produce a game that works and one that has been thoroughly tested, even if it's a later release.

Customization is absolutely horrible this year especially the lack of options compared to what we had in the past. There should be some sort of editor in liveries, suits, and helmets. Every other racing game has it, and real world sponsors to truly create your style. Handling should be a thing that real drivers and engineers have input on, not content creators. Lets be honest 99% of the people that play this game have zero idea of how an actual F1/F2 cars handles or responds in the real world but we give into them year after year and it only seems to get worse. In youre own videos the drivers do with the engineers they are asked why are they driving like this and the response from the driver is oh thats how you have to in this game. I understand you cant get to the true level of realism due to what the game is but have to do better. BETA this game for longer stop making us pay for a BETA game, we have had quite a few updates that have fixed very few things and come with even more issues. F1 World is a waste of space from what Ive seen, I gave it a shot last year and its not it.Podium past needs to be reverted, it has too much F1 world content if its sprinkled in great but for the most part its all about F1 world. Also the recycling of content in the pass and the store needs to stop. Unless I'm the only one that doesn't want zombie poses and fish liveries like come on this is supposed to an arcade sim not a children's game leave that to Fortnite Upgrades need to be a bit more realistic, teams aren't putting out upgrades like that and when you're in the second season and the car is fully upgraded its not fun (I Know you can turn it down but still that puts you late season 2 early season 3)To sum it up, better physics and more customization options. (I didnt proof read, late for a meeting lol)

@EA_Groguet F1 world is not a mode i touch anymore because i find it too easy and unrewarding.My team NEEDS some attention because i haven’t even a competitive season as there was no reason to.The F2 cars both last years editions and this years are fun to drive but having to wait 4 months for the new cars is something that needs to be looked atDriver’s career is better with the improvements but I feel more transfers between teams need to happen.The challenge career’s aren’t of major interest because there little challenge in terms of easily being able to manipulate the resultsCustomisation is awful. Having so few liveries is not good.Overall id say it is a big step back from 23 and id very much expect a major improvement for 25

1. At a high level, I think the entire project and release lifecycle of the F1 series needs to change. Ideally it should be a two-year release schedule with a roster/schedule/livery/car model DLC in between game releases. And both dev teams need to be using the same builds of the games at all times during development.2. For the entire series, but for F1 24 in particular, it's very clear that there was no meaningful testing done. I'm assuming it's because there wasn't enough time to do the amount of testing the game needed, but again, that goes back to the release cycle for these games. You absolutely can't give these games the amount of time they need for testing by having a new release every year. When things get missed in one game, those things eventually snowball, because the pace of releases doesn't allow for time to slow down and actually fix things before having to shove another somewhat-finished game out the door.3. Listening to your players is important, but what's more important is: ACT on the feedback that players are giving you. It's clear that no one who had early access to F1 24 had good feelings about it. That feedback should've been heeded, and the game should have spent 4-6 more months in development and testing at LEAST. We don't mind waiting longer in order to get a better game.4. Stop with trying to reinvent the wheel with game modes (no pun intended). People want Career, they want MyTeam, they want online (casual and ranked), and they want historical content. AMS2 is absolutely destroying this franchise with historical content, and they're on the verge of releasing another huge update. 5. You're making the games pretty, but not fun. Visual immersion is great, but there's a reason games like iRacing are still the go-to's. It may be dated, but it's stable, and it works without fail. Every year these games get prettier, but more things break. F1 24 is less about one or two BIG things that make the game not fun to play, and more about lots and lots of little issues that add up to make the game experience dull, frustrating, confusing, and tiresome.6. Either fix the persistent issues and bugs that have been reported for years, or start developing a new engine for the game. It's clearly not working as intended anymore, no matter how many new coats of paint get slapped on every year. There's been no indication or action that we've seen as players that give the impression anyone knows how to actually fix these bugs anymore.7. If you update a handling model, tire model, etc. then you need to do thorough testing to see how that affects everything else on the cars (DRS, ERS, tire wear/temps, etc.). Again, this just goes back to testing these games to the degree they need to be tested. For example, running a 5 lap race as a User Acceptance Test isn't good enough.8. The gimmicks are old. We don't care that you got Max Verstappen to give feedback on the handling. All we care about is having handling that that feels good. We don't care about Fan Zone or GP Voting (even though I think these are fun ideas). All we care about is having an online experience that's stable and fun to play with other people. We don't care that Lance Stroll's face is rendered in beautiful 4k textures with ray tracing and subsurface scattering. All we care about is seeing his avatar make the same kind of mistakes he does in real life (and that goes for ALL driver avatars).On one hand, I could keep sharing thoughts all day about what could and should have been done differently with F1 24. But I've been sharing my thoughts in great detail the last 4 months, and nothing's changed. And nothing is going to change at a corporate level, because EA isn't going to invest the time and money to allow CM the ability to permit better testing or create a new game engine. So I'm at the point where I need to stop wasting my energy and time on it and move on to other games/sims. I'm tired of reporting the same issues every year, only to see them pop up the year after, and the year after. We all are.

@EA_GroguetHey brother hope you well.Ok I’ll make this short. 😂F1 world has got to go.This game being series specific and content light. Is what it is. We don’t mind paying for it being light on content. But trying to monetise this game is not going to happen. There’s just not enough meat on it.. Plus these games generally appeal to older gamers that remember a time when games weren’t monetised and wont fall for such egregious attempts to empty our pockets so EA/ Codies need to admit defeat.Except there’s one way to successfully monetise this game that nearly all off us would be happy to pay for. TRACK DLC. My idea would be for codies to pick 9 or so tracks that are not on that years roster. 3 months into game cycle drop a 2 track paid dlc and then another 3 months later. Following year do the same using different 4 tracks. This way players won’t have to buy the same tracks year on year as Codies can rotate the tracks and also have time to make updates to those tracks in the couple off years they are not in use.Needs to add livery and helmet designer as part off the game. Codies have access to both NFS and WRC livery designers. Plus the one they used for F1 mobile game so shouldn’t be a huge issue adapting it for this gameTeaching the Ai needs a whole new curriculum. Ie the way it races us and eachother plus the damage model needs to go back to how it used to be. Which I reported last year and the dev team are well aware off. Last two years it’s gone backwards. Once a leading Ai in racing games will fall behind its competitors next year if it doesn’t improve. It’s soul destroying. 700-1000 hours every year I play this game. But because off the bad Ai. Last year just 350 hours and this year a shocking 44 hours and I’m done with it.(hence why I hardly post anymore. Which will most likely please a few people) Compared to Cricket 24 that’s a buggy AA game at best. Last 2 months I’ve rather played that and put 300 hours in. No monetisation in that game and despite its short falls and a boring sport the gameplay is solid.Codies should have prioritised my team over new career.They need to find an away to make the career modes last longer. It’s currently ten years which would be fine but you get everything done in 3 years. In terms of how car update works. Max out a car be it human or ai controlled team should never be a thing. Should be ups and downs year on year.Needs a calendar customisation.That’s off the top off my head. I’ve been warning EA from the day I was made champion about the state off the game and players opinions off it. As you know. And said what needed to be done. But as much as the community team were willing to engage with me. It’s unfortunate those that make decisions at EA/Codemasters didn’t listen. Ignoring my all knowingness 😂.

*sigh* I don't know where to begin.... usually when leaving feedback I go for the constructive sandwich technique (start with a positive then a negative then a positive) but with this game.... I can't even do That!!

*context* I only started playing F1 24 near the end of season 4 after the dismal F1 23. But even in my short time I'm about ready to call it quits with this Franchise until EA are away from the project all together. Wishful thinking I know but until then these are the main issues needing FIXING for f1 25 and beyond:

RANKED PLAY NEEDS A COMPLETE OVERHAUL - I mean the whole game mode is a joke. You get players constantly and purposely crashing into you ending your race early and generally being the dirtiest drivers out there! Yet, they receive no penalties, no being forced to cede positions back, no disqualification.... nothing! Yet I exceed the track limit ever so slightly on a packed turn one in Portugal once and I've been penalised 2 seconds!!! It's a joke especially the points system for it and don't get me started on that equal performance BS it's complete and utter rubbish. I have seen numerous videos on how controller players are at a severe disadvantage to those with a wheel setup and it just makes the game not fun for anyone. Completely tear it down and rebuild it better!

F1 WORLD REQUIRES IMPROVEMENT- Easy challenges, boring events and just nothing there to really excite me about it.... needs a big reinvention as for customisation etc that needs SEVERE improvements because the choices are abysmal! It's like the team just threw a bunch of designs together and went 'there's your lot' shocking.

CAREER MODE - whilst I admit I am pleased breaking point did not make a return... that's the only positive I can give by the way. The rest of career mode was just Meh.... Yet another disappointment as it was essentially just a copy and paste from last year with not much improved it the mode at all.

My feedback is limited as I haven't played much of 24, however... I really appreciate the excellent facility within the game to change settings so the game can be played by someone with medical issues. I had a stroke last year and pretty much my left leg doesn't work anymore and my left arm barely works, with some tweaking and fiddling with settings, key bindings, and difficulty I am able to race, nowhere near the level I used to but its still fun and engaging for me. Top work on accessibility, thank you so much :)

F1 is a sport that is meticulous about the details, down to the paint that's used for the liveries because gloss weighs differently than metallic. A thousandth of a second can mean everything. Fans of F1, and players of the game are no different. So, to see a game released by EA that paid no attention to the little things is obviously very disappointing. How many years has it been since practice gearboxes have been used? Yet the tip is still in the cycle. A DRS sign at Sazuka that is no longer used is still hanging out before the last chicane. I could go on, but that's YOUR job to notice these things. I agree, a livery and helmet design editor is a no-brainer. "It's in the game," but F1 IS A SPORT. NBA Live, Fight Night, now F1 has been nothing more than an Electronic Fart that stinks.

Steam overlay not working properly... EA wont log me in. Constantly getting booted from the game mid race if you swap apps on PC and return back to the game.. Game lags when race starts and no force feedback to wheel base until game is paused, then when racing resumes, the wheel base has feedback to it...

4th DRS zone needs to be added to Singapore GP between turns 14-16. Track and Air temp. symbols need to be switched on car monitor screen when doing a grand prix.

Live season rubbish, pit coins, F1 World, Fanzone (absolute garbage), stickers and in F122 lampshades, sofas, rugs, I mean seriously, it's a racing game not a tour of IKEA!

It just shows you how far detached they are from their customers. Since EA took over the game has gone backwards at a rapid rate.

Until they start listening to the players and scrapping their utterly atrocious content they continue with, the game will continue to lose more players every year!

What baffles me is, if they binned off all of their awful gimmicks and focused more on the racing and included a helmet editor, sales would increase significantly.

WHY they can't see that is beyond me!

For what it's worth, I thought I'd add something to this thread.
I've played pretty much every racing game/sim that there is since the 1990s and in particular, every entry in the F1 series of games. Of the F1 series, F1 24 is the only one I bought, played for a month and then haven't touched, unfortunately. I, like many, have gone elsewhere - to GT7, iRacing, AC etc...
I think a few have said it here but basically - EA need to start again. I would much rather wait for something quality as opposed to a rehash of the same rubbish every year with small tweaks.
Start from the basics - a great racing simulation. Create the best racing game from that - a simulation first. Get the best physics, handling, track maps, AI etc... first. Give players the option to dumb it down to an arcade mode as an option. Make it so perseverance and skill are rewarded - no assists is ultimately faster. Fix the penalties to reflect real life, fix the game. Make it as close to being an F1 driver as possible - including the graphics used on F1TV
THEN go for the other stuff - people want Career, MyTeam and online. People want online and ranked AND decent league racing. The crowd wants classic cars back and the ability to edit liveries, helmets, gear etc...
Focus on these things, a great racing game - back to basics and simply awesome. Make the Go-To racing game that outsells all others.
No one cares about buying stuff with pitcoin, no one cares about the other modes. F1 world, buying sofas or wallart, its all nonsense.
Stop releasing the same game for £80 every year with added nonsense - NOTHING significant has changed for a long time, we'd rather wait longer for a game with longevity and class as opposed to more of this.
F1 will look elsewhere and players will leave, the franchise will die unless something significant happens.
Please listen EA, please make 25 (or 26 if you need to in order to make this better!), the best game we've ever seen.

Why would I play this instead of Automobilista 2 after its superb update? I have declined to give EA any more money by not buying FC25, F1 24 nor upgrading WRC to the extension pack due to their history of not resolving issues and ignoring comments about them.

So I know I complained about the podium pass ending too quickly the first time, I only got 60% through but now it sits around way too long.
Why not release the previous podium pass items into the store after a couple weeks?
