@mikyesposto1 having mentioned David a few times in last week or so on our WhatsApp group, I sent him a invite not expecting to join. But he has and been great chatting with him and it’s a shame there’s not many like him. Always getting amongst us here and actually have discussions with with people about handling. So no wonder handling in 23 was great
- mikyesposto11 year agoNew HotshotDavid's goal was to bring f1 towards simulation. And we can say that f1 23 was his "last dance" and his hand on physics was evident. It would have been enough to refine the driving of f1 24 to produce a good game that I would have taken with my eyes closed. I really don't understand the point of ruining the good things David has built over the years, struggling to bring this series where it deserves, towards the purest simulation. Now imagine an esports driver who will find himself physically fit this year, perhaps he will return to training on F1 2014 to experience the same sensations again. Wake up Codemasters, it's 2024, even casual gamers are tired of seeing steps backwards on gameplay. It's time to innovate, not to go back 10 years!

Sounds great would like to talk to other members about the handle in F1 Games.
Do you have invite to your WhatsApp group.

I agree with @mikyesposto1 , I'm not in the Beta this year so I cannot check myself but all the readings about handling are bit scary. F1 23 was very good physics, just need fine tuning not overhaul, hoping Beta is just 'old' development version, fingers crossed for the final one

@McLarensenna63Sorry. Unfortunately It’s private group of friends, As I mentioned David would post here when he was at Codies. It’s only As we have all chatted to him over last fews years. It was more a case of reaching out to an old friend we haven’t seen for a while.
That said excited Fanboys have loved getting their geek on. And turning it up to 11. Im a gamer that loves racing so mostly goes over my head. But whilst David was working on 23 I raised a number of issues I had with a couple off long whinging posts TLDR. And he addressed and made improvements to all but one.. (wasn’t his department) Been a fan ever since- dwin201 year agoRising Hotshot
@ScarDuck14 David's posts were really insightful in understanding how the handling model was being worked on. The F1 23 handling was a good improvement. I hope EA/Codemasters identifies someone from their team to fill that role this go around. It promoted interesting conversations that led a better understanding of what the changes were and how they were better.
