Miami and Fast tracks Settings help

Hello guys,

I'm a an old fan of formula one and formula one games.

This year it is very difficult to overtake on fast tracks.

No Problem on Imola or Bahrein but on Miami for example , even with a Monza setting (aero on 7 front, and 9 rear) with DRS and overtake activated I can't overtake.

Last year it was difficult too but this year it' is impossible even if the AI don't have the DRS. (The strange thing is that I haven't this problem on Jehdda)

Maybe a ride height or suspension setting can improve that?

An other thing, is on Bahrein or Jehdda with 98 % difficulty I can do a top 8 with the Sauber, and I can't do better than 16 on Miami or China.

Do you have the same difficulty differences between tracks?

I'm on PC, with Fanatec CSL elite, no helps and Elite controls.

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

  • @Juju_59320 Firstly I’d check some e-sports pros YouTube videos on best FFB and calibration settings. Just having them not optimised can cost a few seconds a lap.

Also all teams cars have different drag and weight, ERS and tyre wear. so some teams do better than others depending on fast tracks compared to more technical tracks.

Also tyre temps play a huge part. I mean massively. Tracks where tyre temps need management throughout race or a setup to help reduce tyre temps ( which means a slower setup). The Ai tyre temps are always at exactly optimal temperatures. So don’t have to worry about compromising pace with a slower setup or need to ease off pace during race like humans do:

Couple off suggestions on tracks where high temps hinder either reduce Ai or go to simulation settings and change tyre temps to surface only
  • I think the AI are just a bit busted on Miami, the traction and acceleration they get out of turns 8 and 16 reminds me of the ridiculous AI top speed bug from F1 22.
