NEW feature? Automated SC announcement audio.
Noticed in our league's race last night that there was a new Safety Car announcement, like how real drivers will hear Automated Race Director instructions in their ears. This was a nice feature to be added.
It would be cool to hear this repeated throughout the SC period. It would also be great to have the proximity beeps that increase and decrease according to a Driver's delta in their ears added.
Whilst some might wish to turn a feature like this off (like the gear change beeps) it is something real drivers hear, and a lot of players enjoy racing in cockpit view with no HUD. This makes keeping to a delta almost impossible to manage whilst driving.
Just to note as well. We STILL hear Marc say "There are NO plans for a safety car" when the SC is launched.
Well aware that in my example here there is a VSC, but it still happens under normal SC launches. Perhaps Marc could say VSC deployed instead??
This has been the case since we had Jeff as the engineer back on older games, so it's really frustrating that nobody has picked up on this even after re-recording new engineer dialogue.
It has been reported annually in the bug reports! Let's finally get this changed for F1 25!!
