Patch 1.17 and Season 5 when?

@IanM282 Personally, I have few problems as a single player on the pad, but I understand you. Since it's already 2025 and the new season starts in 2 months and the new game comes in May/June, I don't think Codemasters will change much and are already concentrating on F1 25.

@LordPhoenix-TH66 I agree, I'm not expecting any significant changes or improvements for F124 now. I just get so frustrated with how poor it's been for me personally and many others. These games are judged by the previous ones and F124 is way short of the mark. It was obviously rushed out with zero care and attention and then what followed in the patches has been a calamity. Add in to this that the game content has been completed stripped back and more bugs than ever and it's no surprise to see why so many people are fed up with how the game is progressing under EA.

I found the handling in F12020, F121 and F123 to be great using a pad. All different to eachother, but all good. F122 wasn't great in comparison, but for me personally I'd take the handling from F122 over F124 any day of the week (on a pad).

I guess we all see it differently, all I know is that when they patched it a while back, the amount of complaints and negative feedback to roll it back was huge regarding the changes they made for pad players.

I have got used to the handling now, but do I enjoy driving it? No not really. I think if I was a new player and never experienced the previous games, then fair enough.

But to actually go from great handling models from 2020, 21 and 23 to what we have in 24 (again on a pad) is so frustrating.

I understand that when David Greco left it was going to be a challenge for the team to which I do understand fully. But my frustration is quite simply down to the fact that they released a patch to so call improve it specifically for pad players and made it ten times worse and then just ignored all the complaints and just left it like it is. Whilst continuing to churn out more pointless gimmicks.

Having played all the previous releases, again in my opinion and actually many other pad players opinions too, F124 is a disaster.

But, honestly I'm pleased you enjoy it and for anyone else too. But for me and many others the handling on a pad just isn't good at all.
