Progress did not carry over from trial to full version

For whatever reason the website locks up whenever I try to post a bug report, so now I'm posting it here instead. I have played the EA Play trial for F1 2024 on the EA App and decided to buy the gam...

    @zephyerdk  I believe progress carrying over from the trial only applies if you purchase the game on the EA App. That's their way of "encouraging" you to not buy it on steam because they would prefer to avoid having to give them a cut of the sale.

I had the EA Play via Steam and the free weekend and I've just purchased the standard game and had no issues with progress.

I don't seem to be getting the 5000 XP for Podium Pass or maybe I missed it.

@SteveJackson  TC had EA Play via the EA App and then purchased the full game via steam which is why their data didn't transfer.

    Always go Steam. At least if it's broken there, it's CM. EA store version is a kludge and has never been a good option. I remember the launch and being astounded that PC needed Crossplay to play with PC (wasn't possible for some weeks). Haven't ever with EPIC launcher but EA decided to ditch Origin for EA App at about the same time F1 transferred into those storefronts too.
