Race lenth for ranked races

Hello, has there been any communication whatsoever regarding the changes to race length in ranked lobbies for F1 24?

I felt like the 25% format in F1 23 was a step in the right direction making most races feel dynamic with different tire strategies, changing conditions and opportunities to get back into the races even when someone dives straight into your car.

Personally the 5-lap format in F1 24 is a giant jump backwards in every aspect. Not only does it make every race feel identical, it also increased toxic behavior at least tenfold. A 25% is a 15-20 minute time commitment so most people were careful with their own cars and relatively patient with overtakes since you can always do it in the next lap. However in a 5-lap race most players just go with the attitude "Eh, I will just queue again" making even A-license lobbies a nightmare of toxic divebombers and griefers.

I will appreciate if someone from the team can share their perspective, because I genuinely see no benefits to the change at all.
