As @Darthsausage44 said. It might be worth checking your settings just to see what this is set as.
You can check this in the general controls settings. It may also be worth checking the button is mapped and has no other actions linked to it
- @Cpayne32 I had the same problem. I've been trying trials to try and get hang of the new driving model. Got frustrated with ERS not doing anything so I went to a race. ERS worked in a race just not in time trial...
Is it supposed to be like that? Neither manual or Auto ERS work in Time Trial. Took me about 4 hours to figure it out. - Cpayne322 years agoHero+
I think in time trial the ers defaults to hotlap and can’t be changed
I have been fiddling some more and ERS works in a actual race but not in Time Trial.
I usually spend a few hours getting the hang of the driving model before trying a race.
Is Time Trial supposed to not have ERS working. It doesn't work in either Auto or Manual mode, just stays full the whole time. Everything works like it should in a race.
Cpayne32 We were both typing at the same time.... That seems to be the problem. Cheers :D
I have a similar problem but with DRS. I have the Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition and on the track when my DRS is available and I click on the button on the wheel, nothing happens, and I don’t go over 165ish or so. In settings I reassigned the button several times and the wheel recognize it but when on the track the wheel does not.
