At least spa has been updated
Until they start putting out details regarding the revamped driver career mode it’s all a bit of a “nothing burger” unfortunately. Really thought that was the point of today sadly…

And Qatar from video, hopefully Monza, Hungary and Interlagos as well.
Hmmm.... Honestly hard to think that trailer is going to get many particularly excited about the new game sadly. We'll have to see what the two 'deep dives' scheduled for this month reveal though.

@Ultrasonic_77 Yes, don't worry. We are getting more info and a more in-depth look at the gameplay in the coming weeks!
Will they possibly do a Chinese GP hotlap as the race is this weekend as a treat.

Not sure about the whole track but definitely looks better if you slow the trailer down and compare to F1 23

- Meza9942 years agoSeasoned Ace@Ultrasonic_77 Actually only 4 tracks updated so far and Silverstone just got updated recently.. I know british fans always get some favouritism but there were tracks way more in need of an update than Silverstone - after the recent update it got.. Anyway, doesnt seem exciting so far, seems like a lot of smoke for nothing like the past years but we will see once actual gameplay is shown

I wasn't thrilled with the trailer23, in fact the same sentences....the graphics in the trailers are always beautiful then you open the game and you find everything the same as 10 years ago, a bit of bright colors here and there....what about trying to change the I'm fine with physics, but why don't you always leave everything the same... why don't you make a good base at this point and then charge for upgrades like other companies do? It's clear that you no longer have any ideas about it... you can always move on updating the liveries?bah

Based on the wording for career mode I'm underwhelmed, seems like they mostly just re-added the contract objectives from the 2016-2019 era with some tweaks to make it more R&D based. My concern is iirc often times many of those contract objectives were unrealistic, like expecting you to score 10 points over the next four races when you were driving for a bottom 3 team.
Ultimately, I'll withhold judgement until we see the deep dives and hopefully get an extended look at some gameplay, but the "revamped" career mode isn't giving me the warm and fuzzies I had hoped it would.

While the trailer was not really informative - the press release was more so and I am more optimistic given the statements about car handling.
From the press release:
“Working closely with current World Champion and Champions Edition cover star Max Verstappen, the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling redefines the feel of the car to produce a realistic and predictable performance across wheel and pad. All-new suspension kinematics, upgraded tyre model, advanced aerodynamic simulation, and new engine and car setup options enhance the driving experience. Cornering, rolling resistance, brake pressure, ambient track temperature, and variable conditions enable drivers to receive immediate feedback to maximise their on-track performance.”
