I think if you are a casual driver (plug in and play), not interested in realism, and not trying to be competitive, this handling will suit you.

But if you are trying to drive on the limit of the car and league race and keep doing many laps after laps to find the time on each corner and tune the setup, you will not enjoy this handling at all.

@hassan8486I hated it at first, then worked on what the setups gave. I actually, as a sim racer, enjoy the game much more than 23 or 22. This has better downforce simulation. The default setups are complete garbage and hurt the experience. It's not perfect, but very enjoyable.

@hassan8486 I exclusively league race and I like the handling. I can obviously see the issues with it that they need to fix such as the rear being impossible to lose at high speed leading to crazy unrealistic turn in but overall I feel like it's a step in the right direction and I think once they solve some small issues the handling will be exceptional.

@JAIUNEVIE19 I feel like this as well. I get much more feedback about what my car is doing and I can feel the weight transfer and the suspension much more intuitively than in previous games.

@hassan8486I don't play against the AI but in my league racing lobbies we usually run the AI level at 90-100 depending on the skill mix of the field so that the delta won't be stupidly slow during SC's and VSC's.

@TigerAlen410Let's go with Silverstone to start. Longer corners should identify if this helps. To start, remove any steering linearity. I believe this is what ramps up the steering, (control setting). For car setup, higher speed start, lower front toe by 10 - 15 clicks, rear about 5. Reduce rear camber by 1 - 2 clicks (to right), opposite for front camber. Make front downforce 20-25 rear slightly less. Lower rear ride height by a few clicks. Soften rear suspension and roll bar as well, few clicks. Tire pressure increase by 1 - 1.5 psi for front and rear. Try to keep the gap as is. This should help to start, let me know how it feels so I can adjust accordingly. Also move brake bias toward rear, about 80 percent. Engine braking I had about 70 I think. Not sure what other wheel settings you have, so this is a start.

Somehow that fits. And yes, kerbs have also thrown me out despite my contrary opinion. The physics/handling is probably not that easy after all, at least with a DD steering wheel and corresponding pedals. Full throttle through bends is not, nor should it ever have been.

    Hey everyone,

thank you once again for all your thoughts and feedback!

It has been really helpful, and we've just released patch 1.3 which includes a bunch of new handling adjustments.

You can find the full change list in the patch notes here:
    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Updates-News/F1-24-PATCH-NOTES-V1-3/m-p/13780097/thread-id/5

To better collect your renewed feedback after the recent changes, we've created a new megathread and would ask you to share your opinions here:
    https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/F1-24-Megathread-Handling-Feedback-after-patch-1-3/m-p/13783252#M4030

I'll therefore close this current thread and would ask you to switch to the new thread.

    Your input is really appreciated!
