@ScarDuck14 as if handing is the only problem in this game.....you know how many things will come out as we play it...

My first impression: I like the handling much better than in the predecessor, even if I still have the impression that something is not quite running smoothly.

I ride on the PC with Fanatec CSL DD 8NM, Formula V2.5 with Podium Paddles and CS Pedals V3 (via Base).

In contrast to F1 23, the steering is very direct, just too snappy. The throttle and brakes are also very different from the predecessor. But that's not a negative. The vehicle can be controlled better and more believably despite more movement. More action. And yes, a little too early and hard on the gas at the exit of a corner, the car breaks away. If you brake too late or turn in too hard, the car pushes almost straight out of the bend. And kerbs are not quite as unproblematic as some people make them out to be. Turn off all the aids.

I don't know what a real F1 car feels like, but this is OK for me.

A new version of Fanalab with a profile for F1 24 is due to be released in the next few days. I'll wait until then and use the settings for the steering wheel from F1 23, which work for now.

As I said, steering wheel on the PC. I'll refrain from making assumptions about everything else 🙂

@ScarDuck14 I am the community that organizes the championship because we have already started everything otherwise we would have moved on to something else already this year.....we are already moving towards the 25th until one day an alternative comes out we will not use the F1s with much bitterness. ...we'll update in the future when I'll make a dedicated post here as I play

@c62a35f65d81694f when you do bhrain 25.0 belgium 1.39....etc it means that we are not far from reality but very far away it's a game we are sure that we are faster than reality but not 4/5 seconds...you don't necessarily need to drive a f1 just observe that they either avoid some curbs or when they make a mistake they jump over losing see lecler in imola....

@Nellix82 I don't know how fast I'll be in Spa or anywhere else. I'm not keen on being on any leaderboards either. Just as little as in WRC or DR. Yes, I "play" too^^

I just enjoy driving, but that doesn't mean that F1 24 is the non plus ultra. I just like it better with my steering wheel than its predecessor. I also liked GP4 and RF much better than the F1 19xx + from EA at the time.

F1 24 is full of bugs, just like WRC. But here it's primarily about the handling. It's not perfect, I don't think, but I personally find the driving experience better than in the predecessor. It's really a matter of personal taste, whether you're more interested in driving or chasing records.
