This is what I saw on Reddit, so try it if it works for you:
'Put in the disk and when the game comes up on your menu press down and you should see the ps5 version come up on the right.' Still no option to download through either method, even when reinstalling from disc again

Maybe you'll have to wait for a fix as there's nothing you can do yourself right now... I’m having issues with getting the ps5 upgrade for f1 2024 on PS4
How do you get EA to answer the question as to why the ps4 version of f12024 says on the box ps5 upgrade available when it not?
@mp5bi25nyo23 As WindowsManTv_CZE pointed out there seems to be an issue with the upgrade feature right now. This issue has been escalated to the EA team and they are looking into it.

Yes the upgrade was presented and installed now
It was not resolved when I checked yesterday ,if it has the it’s got to be the most complicated way to find the upgrade I have ever known .
I have even bought f2021 ps4 which says it has a ps5 upgrade option on artwork and that’s not showing ,I have tried everything I can and have used this option on other games without any issues
My mistake it’s all sorted now 🙏
