Re: [Feedback] F1® 24 - Share your thoughts

Further observations after eventually starting a single player career on F124 very recently.

I've purposely waited this long to start a single player career on F124, mainly due to the absolute mess the game has been in since it's release.

Some key observations are as follows:

Handling on a controller is absolutely dire since they messed it up with that patch. The majority of fellow controller players also agree and yet you chose to completely ignore the feedback which was pretty overwhelming. The enjoyment factor of driving is ZERO! especially when directly compared to F123. This absolutely has to be improved for F125.

AI are horrible to drive against at the start of the race. It's just like F122 again whereby they just drive into you with zero spatial awareness. Then they lock wheels with you and you can't get free. This happened in F122 all the time and NEVER happened in F123 not even once.

You can tell the same team who made F122 made F124, awful! In addition the AI straight line speed in F124 is just as bad as F122, again I'll reiterate, the same development team. Have they just used the AI code from F122 and ported it into F124? Because F121 and F123 AI where so much better. Straight line speed in F123 and F121 was never an issue at all.

The AI performance from circuit to circuit is probably the worst I've seen regarding consistency. In particular, Suzuka is just ridiculous. The AI are insanely fast there in comparison to the rest of the tracks.

All you needed to do for F124 was to retain the general handling and base game, especially AI from F123 but with more general downforce to simulate the improvement in performance for the 24 season, update the liverys update the tracks add more and better helmet designs, have better sounds and honestly that's it!

I do not understand whatsoever why you have to change the handling when F123 was so popular by most players. Clearly done as a "new feature" to try and boost sales. Once you have a fantastic handling model and AI regarding relative performance, then keep it, don't try and change it! In my opinion you have made a complete and utter hash of F124 for everyone and especially controller players which to add makes up a considerable amount of your customers.

I remain hopeful for F125, because from my understanding the team that produced the excellent F121 and F123 will be developing it, thank god!
