@EA_GroguetThose pictures linked above doesn't look good at all. Can this be improved or resolved please? I've also read reports that the tyre smoke can now follow you around the track after the new patch. Definitely needs looking at.
Damn, I think the team just considers the compiler building the code successfully as tested and ships it. What other explanation can be there for fix 1 bug, create 3 more.

Just tried my first race since 1.14 installed
not only am I seeing an increase in the tyre smoke, I’m also having MASSIVE frame rate drops right on the apex when following a couple of cars blindly through it…. Not impressed

the smoke problem is really huge, it happen not only when you lock your tire but in every corner, in every braking and in every corner exit. Sometime the smoke is generated with a lot of delay, and in general its impossible to see the apex point right now

Please hotfix this now, this smoke bug is really bad. Some of us are actually trying to play the game but you are making it really hard for us.
Funny thing is this could be fixed as easy as adding an option for Tyre Smoke On/Off. Same as the annoying rain drops on the camera, add a simple option of On/Off, that's it.
i'm using a ps5 so no Dxdiag for me sorry! @EA_Groguet

Just watch one real F1 race, there is no smoke in real life! When it happens is so fast and you will even never notice the smoke !
For console players a workaround that i have seen is to turn ABS on. I know its not a fix but its something that should reduce it

This is some real Spy Hunter stuff.. I can't believe this is an issue.
Why doesn't anyone feel responsible for this? The developers stay in the background and no one has the courage to comment on the whole thing. Only some community managers are ever sent forward to do the dirty work. If I do such work in normal life, I'll be thrown out.
Game is 5 month old. Now and then we get a "patch" with new bugs.
Like why?
They don't care. They already got their money.
I could not even imagine this game will be so bad. 6 months after the release and it is not a ready to sell product. Never ever will I make this decision again. I wad simply not aware things like this can happen.
I was thinking of getting F124 in the sale this weekend. But those videos of the smoke are totally appalling and completely unrealistic. I've never seen anything like that from F1 cars - more sparks than smoke. I wonder what planet the developers are on?? I think I'll save my money.
