for some reason the “meta” setup seems to be full left on all camber and toe settings for every track in all modes, whilst using fully maxed tyre pressures.
I don’t understand how this can be the optimal for every track, when each circuit and tyre compound used should be very different.
The FIA and Pirelli always release guide and Race Director notes before every race stating minimum and recommended tyre pressures, and these are always much lower than what we have in game.
it generally takes the esports guys a day to find and exploit the “meta” setups, so surely this could be tweaked in patches to create a more realistic tyre model when it comes to setups.
It’s the same “one setup fits all” scenario every year in these games.
I’d like to see more realistic changes to the setups to suit each of our driving styles, nobody drives/plays exactly the same. I want small tweaks to things like toe/camber and tyre pressure to have a noticeable difference to how cars behave and handle, and force the player to make changes to manage tyre wear etc
