Replay Sound

As with the real-world broadcast, there will be instances where car audio doesn't always match the on-screen action 100%. This year's integration is the first to offer more authentic replay sound with improvements planned to be made in future years.

What kind of lame excuse is that? Nothing fits together with sound in the replay.

In previous versions, the speed and gear also matched the images in the replay. ACC can do it, even WRC's own engine sound is credible and powerful depending on the situation. What has been so wrong with F1 since this year?
I've never heard a worse excuse for a loveless implementation. I think that's it for CM under EA's direction. A lot of money for no desire to build something real. Too bad. Hope dies last, now the last has come. By

  • Please say that you screwed up and don't employ a marketing team to talk up this mishap.

Realistic or not, the TV cameras at the track deliver a boring, annoying sound that has absolutely nothing in common with the pictures. Lovelessly recorded samples that don't even come close to matching the real TV broadcasts.

Go over to WRC and let them explain to you how TV sound works, or bring back old colleagues.

What's delivered here in F1, a premium title, is below par.

Not even RTL has managed such lousy quality. And they didn't even have any excuses.

Have to agree the most lame excuse I've ever heard in my life.

F120, F121, F122 and F123 all had the replay sounds matching the visuals perfectly.

No excuse whatsoever, it's just poor work as is the rest of the game this year.

They'd be more respected to at least come out and say sorry we messed up this year. Instead we have a complete load of fabricated waffle!

  • I've never heard that kind of cheek before. "The sound also sounds a bit strange in real life."

Is that the reason for the sometimes always bad sound?

Some kind of cheap excuse to put you off until the next few years? I hope you're joking.

There was already reasonably good sound in the predecessors. I can only think the current construct is a bad joke.

I'm not going to wait for the next few years, now they've asked for a lot of money, more than usual. And less has been offered. A lot has been promised and nothing, absolutely nothing, has been delivered. I'm really angry and I'm taking the consequences.

Too bad I bought a Fanatec Equip because of the F1 series, but it's also very good for ACC.

It's a shame, the idea was there, but now the game has degenerated into a poor arcade version of F1 23, just for €20 more.

Money wasted on old technology with less stuff than its predecessors.

I don't know to what extent EA has shares in this crap, CM hasn't done itself any favors. I thought it was already bad, but this year's construct really takes the cake. I've never seen such a bad beta test at such an expensive price from Blizzard or Microsoft. It really is the height of cheekiness.

@c62a35f65d81694f I too thought it was a rather hilarious excuse for such a poor effort, once again..

They could easily implement the old replay sounds from the last game but apparently that is too much work.
