Youve never seen an f1 car lock its wheels?
either stop locking up (skill or activate abs) or you can turn smoke off in graphics settings
or
running highly worn components makes the car smoke a lot, is that what you mean by never seen in f1 because it doesnt happen unless a component fails in real life. The ai never do this that ive ever seen
its a bug bro. the smoke is not related to braking. It just comes out of nowhere and stays in the air for a couple seconds causing frame drops.
it has NOTHING to do with the cars or how the behave, its purely an issue within the game. And indeed it is insnely annoying if you race without line as you literally cant see the apex anymore with so much standing smoke. And yes, it also happens (actually mostly) once cars hit acceleration. And no, it is not because of spinning tires.
