As I said at the announcement of trailer 24 the game as said by Gillon is a complete flop.... made for pad it is purely arcade taking advantage of our passion and squandering 90 euros continuously co...

I for one feel this is all getting a bit out of hand. Its very different sure, but more realistic. Everyone says arcade but i think its more sim. When Mercedes brought out the 2021 car for iracing which had been worked on by theier own engineers the front end direction change was incredible. Real f1 cars have front end direction change which is insane. Stand outside of copse corner looking down the straight as the cars come towards you and you will really see.

If this is is the same as the beta the front end was wierd at first but once you experiment with the wheel settings it stopped being an issue for me. Alex is showing it at its worst. Ive seen a couple of videos now whee by the end the player is starting to learn and understand the handling and getting more out of it. Formula owen is an example. This mirrors my experience of the beta. Once you start to dial in the driving is really good i thought. Just wanted to add a balance to all the negativity -  from what ive experienced in the beta  and seen over last couple of days.

@Darthsausage44 To be fair, when i try F1 cars (racesimstudios) in Assetto Corsa its exactly what they describe now what im getting - with probably 100% horrible and wrong setups though - super twitchy frontent reacting way too quickly but chronic understeer once in the corner.. Using a pad though but still the same they complain about now.. Might be some wrong settings or whatever but as a starting point in the game and they could have chosen easier setups or controller/wheel settings

    @Darthsausage44 There’s mention that filters are being used. Which isn’t anything new or surprising for controllers. Limited stick and trigger travel. Filters help counter excessive player inputs. But I’ve seen filters and so have others working on wheels.. steering wheel full lock attempting to donut. Just as cars about to let go. The wheel on screen starts applying opposite lock. Despite player having wheel still full lock. That’s not realistic. Seen other videos of cars getting out of shape at speed player doesn’t react but car does and gathers it up. I use controller and don’t race competitively so it’s not something that affects me. But for those who use wheel and race competitively need the cars to behave realistically. So a racer uses his natural abilities and skill set to keep the car on the edge off its limits for maximum attack. But racers won’t be able to put their skillset to maximum use. Then it reduces the skill level from Elite to professional. Meaning old chumps like me being able to atleast keep up with much better drivers. So the question is. Why are filters being used so noticeably on wheels? My guess would be they are there. To cover up a more serious unsolved issue.
