The cars sound nothing like the real thing

Although there has been some criticism of the sounds and quite rightly so. I do think there are some positive points.

I do like the new external car sounds from the TV replay, however, the on car visuals do sometimes not match the sound. This was reported early after the game was released. EA have since said they have no plans to fix this until next year's game. But the actual sound from TV cameras is definitely much better than we had previously and at times do sound like the real thing, although much room for improvement as well.

The on board engine sounds are a bit hit and miss for me. I think both the Mercedes and Renault engine sounds are actually good. But the Honda and in particular the much condemned Ferrari sound is catastrophic.

The Ferrari on board sounds is extremely low resolution and almost hollow sounding, like a pair of defective headphones. The Ferrari engine sound is extremely poor.
