Traction in F1 24

Hey Guys,

my buddy an me stopped playing F1 23 because the traction for pad user was so bad (when using traction control), that gap the me as a wheel user became too big. So we went back to F1 22 and had a much better expierence. We use some driving assistances for holding the gap between the pad user and wheel user as close as it possible is. But in F1 23 the traction control was even on maximum so bad, that it was a hard time for my friend. We are no Newbies, we played on 90+ difficulty.

As I remember other player here in the forum also had this problem and it was a big thread. Sadly there was no workaround or patch from CM in this case.

How are the expierences for F1 24 so far in this case? Has anybody heard some information or reviews about that? Or is anybody able to tell is feelings about it or is it totaly forbidden to talk about expierences yet?

Personally, I love it. It feels great. I hope they don't change a thing, but sadly I know they will.

@petro1319 I also agree, I love the traction model. They shouldn't change anything the relates to this

I did not experience this at all. Even 25% throttle coming out of turn 1 was almost enough for the back end to step out. Traction does feel on the whole a lot better this year though. Managed to drive probably 20 laps or so consistently with no losing the back end which is a first for me.

I tested going full throttle at the exit of turn 1 in Bahrain in 2nd gear and got pretty much none or almost nothing of tire spin. I'm not sure it works like that but I'm no expert in this matter.
