Turning OFF mechanical failures AGAIN

Just like in F123 I am having to turn off mechanical failures. I have the highest durability on the grid yet I am retiring from every OTHER race with some mechanical failure or another. 9 races, 4 D...

I thought mechanial failutes didn't work this year... in 2 seasons I haven't had a failure even once, even though I turned failures on the highest level. Only one time i got drs issue.

In the settings press triangle (or equlivlent on playstation) untill you get to "expert settings" then you can turn player mechanical failures on. Its on the top right(ish) area, while you are in the career mode menus. Not in game.
