Want to unlink an unknown ea account from my steam account

I just purchased f1 24 through steam . And while I tried to link my EA account to my steam , it says my steam is already linked to an account and I have no idea what that account is . I know it’s not...

    Thanks for reaching out and explaining things. Can you remember playing EA games in the past from that Steam account? I ask as, in order to play an EA game in Steam, you need to connect it to an EA account. This can only be done from within your Steam account and by entering the EA account login information. This is why the EA account linked to your Steam may actually be yours if you've played EA games from that Steam previously.

    So if the email looks strange, it might be that your EA account was since compromised. Our team can investigate the EA account side of things for you, and if it's yours, they can help you secure and recover it.
